Walker-Heley was established to provide senior housing expertise to the real estate investment and development communities. Founded in 2011, Walker-Heley offers consulting services to investors, developers and asset managers within the senior housing investment space. Drawing upon the extensive experience of the company’s principals, Alice Walker and Katie Heley, Walker-Heley is able to offer a wide array of services to ensure successful and profitable senior housing development projects and investments. Walker-Heley has offices in Austin, Texas and Palo Alto, California.

Alice Walker co-founded Walker-Heley in 2011. She has primary responsibility for overseeing the consulting services that are focused on the development and operation of senior housing communities. Prior to founding Walker-Heley Partners, Ms. Walker served as Vice-President of Operations Administration for Belmont Village Senior Living, where she had responsibility for market research, annual community planning and budgeting, and operation information systems. With over 24 years of experience in senior housing, she has overseen numerous senior housing development projects from inception to stabilization. She holds a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.

Katie Heley co-founded Walker-Heley Partners and is responsible for the investment strategy and asset management services offered by Walker-Heley. Prior to Walker-Heley, Ms. Heley was the interim Director of Operations Administration at Belmont Village Senior Living and also served for many years as an Asset Manager and Junior Portfolio Manager for JP Morgan’s domestic and European property funds. She has over 10 years of experience in asset management and holds a BS in Financial Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
